Founded in 1989, the company began as Hsu Chu Co., Ltd. (旭助有限公司), a textile trading business. Convinced that lasting growth had to be built on product development and on strengthening the company's own capabilities, founder Mr. Lai Ming-Tsung established Jhih Cheng Non-Woven Co., Ltd. in Luzhu, Taoyuan in 1993, shifting the company's focus to manufacturing and R&D. In 1997, GuangZhou QuanYong Non-Woven Co., Ltd. (廣州全永不織布有限公司) was set up in the Huangpu Development Zone, Guangdong, China, strengthening the group's competitiveness through a lower cost base. To broaden our product development capability and meet steadily growing demand across a wide range of nonwoven applications, we expanded our Tamsui plant in 2008, adding 14 production lines for stitch-bond nonwoven. The company is certified to ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016 and GRS, and remains committed to producing stitch-bond nonwoven of consistently higher quality.
Through years of dedicated technical work in the development and production of stitch-bond nonwoven, we have become one of Taiwan's leading manufacturers in this field, and have earned a strong reputation in both domestic and overseas markets. Core Products and Applications
Jhih Cheng manufactures and supplies PET stitch-bond nonwoven. Our first priority application is backing material for automotive wire-harness tape: 100% PET substrates for downstream adhesive coating and slitting, with grade-dependent options for thickness, basis weight, flame-retardant performance, hand tearability, noise reduction and low VOC. Our second priority is reinforcement and lining material for sports and casual footwear, including standard, anti-wicking, anti-mold and antibacterial, resin-free water-fixation and recycled-material series. Specifications, samples and test data are confirmed for the selected grade.

What is non woven fabric
Nonwoven fabric is fabric produced without conventional weaving — in other words, fabric whose structure contains no warp yarn and no weft yarn. Common types include needle-punch nonwoven, spunlace nonwoven, thermal-bond nonwoven, spunbond nonwoven and interlining. Most nonwovens are made from synthetic fibres, and the process begins by forming a fibre web. Compared with woven fabric, which is built from dense yarns interlaced on a loom, nonwovens typically offer good air permeability, heat retention and sound insulation, together with far higher production volumes. We supply a full range of nonwoven fabrics: needle-punch nonwoven, interlining, acrylic needle-punch, felt, spunlace nonwoven, spunbond nonwoven, thermal-bond nonwoven and resin-bond nonwoven.
What is stitch-bond non-woven fabric
In a stitch-bond nonwoven, the fibre web is held together by yarns stitched through it in the machine direction. Most other nonwovens bond their fibres by needle-punching, thermal bonding or chemical bonding, and all of these tend to leave the fabric with a stiffer hand. Stitch-bonding avoids that, allowing the fabric to retain the soft hand of the original fibre web. Because the web is secured by stitching, stitch-bond nonwoven also has a flatter, more even surface than other nonwovens. In downstream processing, an acrylic resin can be applied to set the fabric and adjust its hand, and this same stage can be used to add functional treatments such as flame-retardant or water-repellent finishes. As a result, stitch-bond nonwoven allows a wider range of process variations than other nonwoven types.
